A curious dog
This and the following two illustrations are for a book idea that I had about a boy who likes to play outdoors. one day he drinks from a "magic" brook and shrinks to the size of a bug. The book sort of toggles between how the boy, in his very small stature, sees things and how the audience would see this. More of these illustrations can be found in the graphite heading in this website.
Tree Spirit
This is an illustration for an anthology of folk tales from the Chittagong Hill Tracts in Bangladesh. It is part of a larger project in which picture books of these folktales are being produced to help teach the children in the Chittagong Hill Tracts to read and write their native language. The native language has not been taught in the schools there for decades, yet these children speak the native language at home.
